A Love Letter to Our Community 
Space to Create was built from a very simple hope: that kids in our community would have a place where they could make something just because they wanted to.
A place where they could paint too much, cut something apart, build something strange, change their minds, start over, and follow an idea without worrying about whether it looked “right.”
We believe creativity is something children already have. Our job is not to teach them how to be creative, but to give them the time, materials, encouragement, and space to keep using it.
As a family, we wanted to create something that felt personal, warm, and rooted in the community around us. Not a big-box kids program. Not a place where everyone leaves with the same project. A real working studio where children’s ideas can take up space.
We hope Space to Create becomes a place your kids look forward to coming back to. A place where friendships form around a messy table, unfinished projects get picked back up the following week, and the studio itself slowly changes because of the children who spend time here.
Every six weeks, our themes and installations will evolve. The walls will get painted on. Cardboard will pile up. Supplies will move around. Things will be built, taken apart, and rebuilt again.
And over time, we hope the space begins to feel less like something we created and more like something our community created together.
We’re a local family raising our own children here, and we care deeply about contributing something meaningful to the place they are growing up.
If Space to Create can give even a small piece of this community more room for imagination, connection, curiosity, and joy, then it will be doing exactly what we hoped it would do.
